Here’s a book that will walk you through the development of your own iPhone application from concept, to sales and marketing. The book is short, non-technical and packed with helpful information, plus it will save you money. I highly recommend it to anyone who want to develop their own iPhone application!

As a developer, I’ve read a lot of books on iPhone app programming and marketing. I code my own apps, and the title of this book caught my eye. How can you create an iPhone app without learning code?

What I found was a well organized collection of invaluable information for each step of the development cycle. I literally took notes as I came across concepts, URLs, useful tools and other resources discussed in the book. I was impressed by the extensive research Carla White did in pursuing her dream of developing her own iPhone app, from concept, development, marketing, testing, submission to the app store and sales.

How does she do it without writing code? By organizing your project according to her very practical methods, you will develop a detailed screen-by-screen model of your iPhone app, which is probably over 75% of the work usually done by iPhone developers. This is handed over to the coder to implement, and your iPhone product is built. By doing all the hard work of organizing the functionality and screen designs, you’ve made the coding a small part of the overall task, plus you’ve saved yourself a ton of expensive programmer time!

By using her ideas, I can save myself time on future projects, and the first thing I’m going to tell my clients is to read Carla’s book so they can design a better product, and help me more efficiently code it for them. It’s a win-win for both of us.

Creating profitable apps is not an easy endeavor. It can be done, but you must have the drive and the aptitude (plus the time) to overcome the challenges. If you are looking to create a mobile app for your business (or idea), you would probably be smart to simply hire qualified professionals to assist you.

I know many talented (and affordable) mobile developers (freelancers and agencies). I’d be happy to provide an introduction if you need one.

If people think you can wake up and get an app from idea to functioning app then ya’ll have another thing coming apps are very difficult to create especially with #apples’ rules and sandboxing so when you talk crap about an app just remember how hard it really is to create
