Check out this quote. Will Rogers was reading today’s headlines back in 1929! Here’s a summary of recent headlines: Senate leader kills bill to keep government running, postpones disaster relief vote…for Dem party, fundraiser at island retreat!
To hear Democrats speak about the “common people” and promote class warfare against the rich, you would get the idea that they were simple, humble folk, deeply concerned about social justice and the country’s well being. Some Democrats may have had humble beginnings, but they certainly don’t have humble endings.
Never let a Democrat Party fundraiser get in the way of the people’s business! In fact when we see today what Will Rogers saw in 1929, the term “Democrat PARTY” takes on a whole new meaning. They’ve been partying at the Ritz, and anywhere else the rich and famous party for a long time. I wonder who pays for all this partying. That would be my tax dollars at work.
I’m still waiting for some of that stimulus money to trickle down to my level. In the mean time, I have my party’s at the local fast food restaurant, if I can afford it.
